Refund Policy

Honeybee Horticulture (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values transparency and clear communication. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may or may not be issued for our services.
By booking our services through www.honeybeehorticulture.com and completing a transaction via HoneyBook.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Deposits & Booking Retainers
All event bookings require a non-refundable deposit/retainer to secure your event date and begin planning, design, sourcing, and preparation.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances

Deposits reserve your date and immediately remove it from availability for other clients

Deposits cover administrative time, planning, design work, and pre-event preparation
2. Custom Services & Products
Many Honeybee Horticulture services involve:

Custom floral design
-
Perishable food preparation (charcuterie, grazing tables, etc.)
-
Specialty rentals and décor sourcing
Because these services require advance purchasing, preparation, and design labor, they are not eligible for refunds once production has begun, including but not limited to:

Fresh florals
-
Food items
-
Custom décor
-
Specialty rentals
3. Cancellations by Client
If a client cancels their event:

Deposits remain non-refundable

Payments made beyond the deposit may be:

Non-refundable if services or materials have already been ordered or prepared

Partially refundable only if:
-
No production has begun
-
No vendor commitments have been made
-
The cancellation occurs within the timeframe specified in the signed HoneyBook contract

All cancellation terms and deadlines are formally defined in your individual HoneyBook.com contract, which supersedes this general policy when more specific.
4. Event Date Changes / Rescheduling

Rescheduling is subject to availability

Deposits may be transferred to a new date only if rescheduling occurs within the timeframe outlined in your contract

Multiple reschedules or last-minute changes may result in forfeiture of the deposit
5. Cancellations Due to Weather or Force Majeure
Weather, venue restrictions, or acts beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies) do not automatically guarantee a refund.
Each situation will be reviewed individually and in alignment with the signed HoneyBook.com contract.
6. Cancellations by Honeybee Horticulture
In the unlikely event that Honeybee Horticulture must cancel your services due to circumstances within our control:

A full refund of all payments received will be issued (including deposit)

This will be your sole remedy

We are not responsible for additional damages, venue costs, or third-party vendor losses
7. Dissatisfaction With Services
Due to the custom, perishable, and time-sensitive nature of our services:

Refunds are not issued for personal preference

Concerns must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the event

We reserve the right to offer:
-
A partial refund
-
A service credit
-
Or another fair resolution at our discretion

8. Payment Processing & HoneyBook.com
All refunds (when applicable) are processed only through HoneyBook.com, the platform used for:

Contracts
-
Invoicing
-
Payments
Processing times are determined by HoneyBook.com and the client’s financial institution.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Clients agree to contact Honeybee Horticulture directly before initiating any chargebacks or disputes. Unauthorized chargebacks that violate this policy or the signed contract may result in collections and legal action.
10. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.
